Miscellany ... stories about real people

Family History is much more than just lists of dates and speculation about your possible descendancy from Charlemagne!  The stories on these pages show that our Adamthwaite Ancestors were real people, who lived real lives, in a rich variety of circumstances.  We have vicars and criminals (including some Vicars who WERE criminals!), rich men and paupers, and tales of success and tragedy.

The article numbers relate to the notes in the Birth spreadsheets which indicate if an individual appears in any of the Miscellany stories - there is also an index of individuals named in each article
