Notes: Baptised 27 nov 1639 at Sedbergh, the son of Wm Adamthwaite

Buried 11 oct 1720 at Sedbergh, ‘John Adamthwaite senior of Hallbank’

Married 4 feb 1663 at Sedbergh to Margaret Heblethwaite

Known children – Ann (1664 - ), James (1669 – 1676), John (1671 – 1728), Elliner (1673 - ),          Thomas (1676 – 1678), Dorothy (1679 - ), Jane (1681 - )

At the baptisms of his children, he was farming at Dowbiggin, Sarthwait and Garsdalrig
